Who We Are

Citizens of the World Los Angeles (CWC LA) is preparing our students to emerge as a new generation of leaders – as trailblazers who are ready to tackle the future challenges and surpass the conceived limitations of what students, communities, parents, and schools can achieve.

All of our schools are tuition-free, non-religious public schools committed to socio-economic, cultural and racial diversity.

Our Schools

Each of our schools across the region exemplifies an academically rigorous and experiential learning environment that develops each student’s abilities, confidence, and sense of responsibility for themselves and their community. In this spirit, we work conscientiously and in collaboration with our local communities to build schools that reflect the neighborhoods that we serve.

At Citizens of the World Los Angeles, our mission is to prepare a new generation of changemakers who think critically, act boldly, and collaborate across lines of difference.

Our students are equipped to tackle complex challenges, advocate for equity and justice, and lead with curiosity, compassion, and courage. Rooted in our intentionally diverse communities, we foster the creativity, resilience, and shared responsibility needed to shape a more inclusive, humane, and sustainable world.
