Local Control and Accountability Plans (LCAP)
Learning Continuity 2020-21
California’s Senate Bill 98 (SB 98) established that schools must submit a Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (Learning Continuity Plan) to formally address student learning continuity in the midst of the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is intended to balance the needs of all stakeholders, including educators, parents, students, and community members.
The Learning Continuity Plan replaces the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for the 2020-21 school year. All LEAs, which includes school districts, county offices of education, and charter school are required to complete the Learning Continuity Plan.
